Teen chess player Advik Amit Agarwal from Maharashtra wins silver medal for India at Asian Youth Chess Championship.
9-year-old star Advik Amit Agarwal from CIA School, Pune has won a silver medal for India at the Asian Youth Chess Championship 2024. The tournament was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan from June 9 to June 21,2024. Advik excelled in the Under-10 boys category, scoring 8 out of 9 points in the Blitz category to finish second. His win is a testament to his talent and hard work. The Asian Youth Chess Championship is a prestigious tournament that attends young talent chess championships across Asia. This year’s edition saw the participation of top players from the Asia region.
previously Advik Amit Agrawal played some fantastic chess to win the National Under-9 Championships 2023 with a score of 10/11 points.Advik is also the Under-9 National Champion in 2023 at Jamshedpur and runner-up in 2024 at Rashtriya Vidyalaya Patna Bihar.
