Nowadays, everyone is emitting gases into the open. We’re all just glued to our gadgets and use cars and bikes, but nobody thinks that mother nature is giving us resources that we need in our daily life.

Approximately 15 billion trees get cut down each year for a number of reasons. This is causing many problems like animals losing their homes and more. And don’t forget to mention, we use cars and bikes everyday. These vehicles usually emit gases that can get into our atmosphere and cause sickness, coughing, eye irritation etc. Not only that, we are also throwing trash on the road, usually being plastic.

Plastic is a huge problem in the environment, especially one time use plastic.

Trillions of pieces of trash can be found in the ocean, and if any marine animal, or not only marine animals, anyone or anything consumes it, then it may lead to fatal accidents.
Now, you may ask what we can do about these environmental issues.

There are some solutions that may be small, but can be effective if a large amount of people contribute to this.

Follow the three R’s (Recycle, Reduce, Reuse)

Recycling– You can take any piece of trash, and just transform it into something else. From decorative items to basic furniture! It can be anything, say even a chocolate wrapper can be used as a decor with some change.

Reduce– Reduce means to decrease. For example, we need to reduce pollution, usage of electricity etc.

Reuse– This is similar to recycle, except we don’t just change it. We just directly use it again. For example. If you drink all the water from a plastic water bottle, instead of throwing it away it can be used again and again.

Planting more trees

This solution is usually ignored but can help a lot. Like previously stated, deforestation has been a huge problem for years. One day we may run out of trees. Yes, growing them takes a lot of time, but can help a lot as trees give us oxygen, wood, paper and much more.

Conserve water and energy

Wasting water and energy can lead to predicaments like water scarcity, ecosystem damage, potential health risks, energy scarcity, and overall affect the health of our planet in a bad way. Since nobody wants that to happen, we should use water and energy reasonably.

You have now learned why our planet is at risk. Our planet is also our home, which is why you should contribute in protecting it and convince others to save it.
