A 32-year-old man died by suicide on Monday after he allegedly jumped in front of a moving train at Noida Sector-34 metro station in Uttar Pradesh’s Gautam Budh Nagar district, according to police.
The deceased, identified as Prashant Dixit, was an engineer by profession and hailed from Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Harish Chander said.
The DCP said the victim was worried about getting a job and started engineering in Mumbai in 2017, news agency PTI reported.
