The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class 12 on May 6, 2024. This year’s results showcase achievement by students across the nation, with high pass rates and strong performances in both examinations.For the ICSE exams, out of 243,617 candidates, 99.47% emerged victorious. The gender-wise analysis also showcases an impressive performance, with girls outshining boys with a pass percentage of 99.65% compared to 99.31% in ICSE, and 98.92% compared to 97.53% in ISC.
Candidates should remember that ICSE and ISC compartment examinations have been discontinued from 2024 onwards. Meanwhile, those who wish to improve their marks / grades in the same year of the examination, may take the improvement examination in a maximum of two subjects. The improvement exams will be conducted in July 2024. The details about the improvement exam will be released soon at the official website.
